Objective | The project objective for Oculus Residences was to promote a Colonial Revival condominium located in Barcelona, Spain, with the main purpose of attracting new residents from all over the world to learn about the culture, art, and architecture of Spain.
Concept | With the intention of enhancing the resident’s appreciation of beauty in simplicity; the concept for Oculus Residences was inspired and visually motivated by the shift in the viewer’s perspective from a grand image to the small intricacies found within architecture.
Theme | Particularly focusing on Spanish art and culture, Oculus Residences adopts a thematic resembling tiles and patterns found in Spain. The goal of this is to attract people to the condominium by enhancing the beauty that can be found within these patterns when shifting the attention to small details that sometimes are overlooked.
